# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It gives you steady energy without the jittery crash coffee sometimes brings.
  • The creamy texture feels indulgent but takes less than ten minutes to make.
  • You can adjust the sweetness and strength to match your exact mood.
  • It works beautifully hot or poured over ice on warm afternoons.
02 -
  • Sifting the matcha is not optional, clumps ruin the texture and never fully dissolve no matter how much you whisk.
  • Water temperature is critical, boiling water makes the matcha taste bitter and loses the delicate flavor you want.
  • Whisk with energy, a lazy stir wont create the smooth consistency or foam that makes this drink special.
03 -
  • Invest in a small bamboo whisk if you make this often, it creates better foam and feels more meditative to use.
  • Store your matcha in the fridge or freezer to keep it vibrant and fresh, it loses color and flavor quickly at room temperature.
  • Preheat your mug with hot water before assembling so the latte stays warm longer.
