# How-To:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
02 - Slice each croissant horizontally halfway through to create a hinge.
03 - Spread approximately 2 tablespoons of Nutella inside each croissant, then gently press halves together.
04 - Place the croissants in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
05 - Air fry for 4 to 5 minutes until golden and the Nutella is melted.
06 - Carefully remove croissants and top with chopped hazelnuts or powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • You get that crackling pastry-and-melted-chocolate moment with zero fuss, just air fryer magic.
  • It's the kind of thing you can make while still in your pajamas and somehow feel accomplished.
  • Coffee tastes better when it's paired with something you made yourself, even if store-bought croissants did half the work.
02 -
  • Nutella softens fast at 350°F, so don't be tempted to crank the heat higher thinking it'll speed things up—you'll end up with burnt croissants and a spread that's almost liquefied.
  • If you're using an older air fryer or one that runs hot, start checking at three minutes because the difference between golden and overdone is about 60 seconds.
03 -
  • Keep your Nutella slightly cool before spreading so it holds its shape better and creates defined swirls that look intentional.
  • If your croissants are already a few days old, they'll crisp up even more beautifully in the air fryer, so don't feel obligated to use them the same day you buy them.
