07 - 2 tbsp sunflower or pumpkin seeds
08 - 1 tbsp coconut flakes
09 - 1½ tbsp maple syrup or honey

11 - ½ tsp ground cinnamon
12 - ¼ tsp ground ginger
13 - ⅛ tsp ground nutmeg

Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes, stirring once, until golden and fragrant. Let cool completely to crisp up.
02 - In each serving bowl, spoon 1 cup yogurt. Swirl in honey and vanilla if using, mixing gently to incorporate.
03 - Top each bowl with half the berries and a generous sprinkle of spiced crunch. Serve immediately, with extra spiced crunch on the side if desired.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The contrast between cold creamy yogurt and warm spiced crunch hits every texture craving at once
  • You can make a big batch of the crunch and keep breakfast exciting all week long
02 -
  • The crunch will seem soft when it first comes out of the oven but crisps up significantly as it cools
  • Frozen berries actually work better than fresh here because they release more juices into the yogurt
03 -
  • Watch the crunch closely in the last 2 minutes because the coconut flakes can go from golden to burned quickly
  • Letting the yogurt sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving makes the texture even more luxurious
