# What You’ll Use:

→ Ice Cream Base

01 - 1 cup unsweetened Greek yogurt
02 - 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
03 - 2 scoops vanilla or chocolate protein powder (approximately 2 oz)
04 - 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or preferred sweetener
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - Pinch of salt

→ Toppings (optional)

07 - 1/4 cup fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
08 - 1 tablespoon peanut butter or almond butter
09 - 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips
10 - 1 tablespoon chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
11 - 1 teaspoon chia seeds or hemp seeds

# How-To:

01 - Combine Greek yogurt, almond milk, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt in a blender; process until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.
02 - Transfer the mixture evenly into a Ninja Creami pint container or an equivalent freezer-safe vessel.
03 - Place the container in the freezer and allow it to freeze solid for at least 8 hours or overnight.
04 - Remove the container from the freezer; if using a Ninja Creami machine, insert the pint and process using the Ice Cream mode following the manufacturer's guidelines.
05 - If desired, perform a re-spin cycle to enhance creaminess or add a small amount of milk and spin again for a softer texture.
06 - Scoop the prepared ice cream into serving bowls and garnish with selected toppings such as fresh berries, nut butter, chocolate chips, or seeds before serving immediately.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes indulgent but actually keeps you full, making it perfect for that post-workout moment when you want something sweet and satisfying.
  • The customization is endless—swap flavors, top it differently, adjust sweetness to your mood, and it never feels repetitive.
02 -
  • The mixture needs to be completely frozen solid or the machine won't process it correctly; rushing this is the fastest way to disappointment.
  • Don't skip the salt—it seems small, but it's what prevents this from tasting like a protein shake that you froze by accident.
03 -
  • If your Ninja Creami has a smoothie bowl setting, try that instead—it gives you a thicker, more scoopable texture that's easier to top.
  • Keep your Creami pint container in the freezer between uses so you always have one ready to go; it makes throwing these together almost effortless.
